What a discovery call actually is.
It is about twenty to thirty minutes. Here is the whole thing.
- You tell us about your business and what is not working.
- We ask questions. Usually more than you expect, because the useful answer depends on them.
- We tell you what we would look at first and whether we think we are the right fit.
- If it makes sense to keep going, we agree on a next step. If it does not, you leave with a clearer picture either way.
Nothing is sold on this call. If a proposal makes sense, it comes afterward, in writing, in plain language.

That is fine. Small projects are often how good relationships start.

No. Most retainers start month-to-month, and project work is scoped and quoted on its own.
